Every year, 7 Director positions come up for election. Every odd year, the Executive Board comes up for election. All positions are voted on during the Annual Membership Meeting held during the annual convention. Each position serves a 2-year term. All bondmen running for a position must also be nominated and seconded during the Annual Meeting to be placed on the ballot.
2025 Officer & Board of Directors Election Intent to Run NotificationsOne of the most important aspects of the 55th Annual Convention is the election of Board of Director positions. Each position serves a two-year term and is responsible for guiding PBT in future endeavors and supervision of the administrative affairs of the PBT. Bondsmen will submit their Intent to Run (which will be posted here) for a position during the General Membership Annual Meeting in the Fall of 2025. All candidates must also be nominated and seconded by full members from the floor. Only full members who dues were current on August 14 as well as current the day of the election are allowed to vote. |

The following bondsmen have submitted their Intent to Run for a position during the General Membership Annual Meeting on November 7, 2025. All candidates must also be nominated and seconded by full members from the floor. Only full members who dues were current on September 8 as well as current the day of the election are allowed to vote. Dear members of The Professional Bondsmen of Texas, My name is Cory Lee, and I am the current Vice President of the Professional Bondsmen of Texas (PBT). I am writing to announce my intention to seek reelection for this position. I have been a dedicated member of PBT for over 25 years, and it has been an honor to serve on the board and now as Vice President for the past five years. My commitment lies in preserving the integrity and future of the bail bond industry. During my tenure, I have actively participated in numerous committees, including golf, website, membership, public relations, the allied organization, and currently serve as the legislative chair. As a third-generation bail bondsman, I am deeply committed to representing the interests of all bail bondsmen, encompassing those in criminal code counties, bail bond boards, and both property and insurance-backed bondsmen. I firmly believe that bail bondsmen play a vital role within the criminal justice system. I would be grateful for your vote in my reelection as Vice President of the Professional Bondsmen of Texas. Throughout this time, I have dedicated myself to volunteering across many of PBT’s committees. This involvement has provided me with valuable opportunities to learn and has deepened my appreciation for the hard work that each of us contributes to the ongoing success of our industry. During my terms as Treasurer, I have become familiar with all aspects and responsibilities associated with the role. Presently, I am overseeing PBT Gift Shop and work alongside our new management as we transition all financial affairs and record keeping.
